Sharing Sundays: Babies, Walking, Jumpers and Health

It’s been such a struggle to find time to get on the computer to blog this week as I’ve been busy with work, which is a good thing but it means I’ve missed out on another few days of blogging. So here’s a little catch up…

Thankful Thursdays

My brother and sister in law gave me the best gift ever this evening in the shape of a gorgeous little baby girl! I’m an aunty for the second time now, last September my sister gave birth to a little girl who is also such a wonderful gift given from God. I’m so excited to see the baby (she is still nameless) change and grow and to see her personality develop.

Fitness Fridays

I spoke about getting back on my fitness grind a few blog posts ago and to get started I’ve been power walking to get my ten thousand steps in daily. I’ve been loving the Pacer app to keep me on track.

Stylish Saturdays

Last week I treated myself to a little bit of ASOS shopping as I was in need of some jumpers but I didn’t just want something plain and boring, I needed some stand out pieces that are also going to keep me nice and toasty.

  1. Willow And Paige Relaxed Jumper With Love Design – I love the emerald green colour of this jumper and it has Bella Freud vibes.
  2. ASOS Ultimate Chunky Jumper With Crew Neck – I know it looks simple and boring but I like the obvious knitted effect and the little attention to detail with the slits on the side.
  3. Blend She Lula Leopard Jacquard Knit Jumper – I’ve always been a leopard print girl and I love the pop of orange on the cuffs.
  4. Only Stripe Knit Jumper – The thick stripes and complimentary colours is what I really like about this crop jumper.

Sharing Sundays

As I mentioned earlier I’ve really been looking at the way I treat my body and am exercising more so that I am healthy and alongside that I am also looking at what I put in my body. I’m hungry for information and knowledge right now and have been making an active effort to educate myself nutritionally and have gone back to some teachers I used to follow a few years ago. I really enjoyed listening to this YouTube talk featuring two of my favourite doctors, Dr Mercola and Dr Hyman who share their amazing knowledge.
