Last Minute Christmas Gift Guide 2016 – For Him

This year has gone by so quickly that I feel like I haven’t even had a chance to enjoy the purchases I made during the year. If like me you’ve left your Christmas shopping to the last minute, I’ve put together a little gift guide to inspire you. I’ve rummaged around the house, in my bedroom and through everyone else’s to find some items that we’ve bought throughout the year that we have enjoyed using which I think will made great gifts this Christmas which will last for many Christmases to come. Most of the items that I’ve chosen to feature are quite high end but they are just to give you an idea of what you could buy, especially if you’re in a last minute pickle. It’s too late to receive orders placed online now so all of the items listed below will be in most shopping centres.

FOR HIM

  1. The North Face Etip Gloves £35 – These gloves are really warm and you can use your phone with them too due to the Etip technology. I’d actually say that these gloves are unisex as I have a pair myself (I copied the boyfriend!).

2) Canon Powershot G7 X Mark II Camera £569.99 – I bought the previous version of this camera this year for my brother, which he has been using non stop for his uni work (he’s studying architecture). Unfortunately I don’t think you can buy the Mark I version anymore but the Mark II has been upgraded and focuses better than the previous one and has a few other improvements, which all the YouTube vloggers talk about as many of them use this camera. It’s a great camera which has wifi and bluetooth features making it easier for you to take your pictures off it straight away so you can use the images on your social media, it has a touch screen monitor and is also small and lightweight enough to carry around or put in your pocket.

3) Bose SoundLink AE2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones £188.99 – My boyfriend, brother and I all bought these headphones this year after comparing them to the Beats by Dre headphones, we found them great for base but not for all round quality of sound like the ones from Bose. We all used them on a long haul flight from London to Bali and found them really comfortable and the noise cancelling feature really does work. My brother uses them in his uni studio on a daily basis and my boyfriend uses them when he’s doing computer work or weights at the gym and he finds them really comfortable.

4) Show Your Work by Austin Kleon £6.99 – this is a really easy book to read, whether you’re an artist or not. We are all creatives in some shape or way and sometimes we just need a little help to find our inner voice to be able to showcase what we are good at. I bought this book for my boyfriend who really enjoyed reading it in one sitting, he’s a numbers guy and found this book inspiring.

5) Apple Pencil for iPad Pro £99 – if you know someone who is lucky enough to own an iPad Pro but hasn’t invested in the pencil, I think they would really appreciate it as it makes using certain drawing apps really easy to use.

6) Amazon Kindle £109.95 – since buying a Kindle my boyfriend reads so much more than he ever has, he’s a real tech guy so finds it easier and more natural to use a piece of technology than an actual book. It’s a great piece of technology to take on commutes or on the beach as it’s lightweight, the battery lasts for ages (about a month) and can hold thousands of books on there which can be purchased and downloaded from your Amazon account instantly.

7) Audible Subscription £23.99-£69.99 – for book lovers that don’t get the chance to sit and read their favourite books, there’s no need to miss out with this subscription which would make the perfect gift. t’s great for people who travel or commute a lot or even for runners who don’t always like to listen yo music. There’s a 30 day free trail you can use before you commit to purchasing the subscription.
